You will not regret!
Bought 2 of this @ Sam's Club for $129 each for my twin boys since we will be going for a road-trip this coming weekend. Was considering Philips' dual screen portable dvd player PET9422 ($240 inc. shipping) but they do not have rechargeble battery if we are going on a flight. So, I figured out that I will only need a "3 Jack Coupler" ($6 @ Radioshack) to connect both units and make it our own dual screen and with their respective rechargeble battery! Just remember to select "line-in" under input select button on the player for both screens to work simultaneously. Also, they have a long-life battery of 7.5 hours, according to the spec (although I have not try it out myself yet). Screen resolution is awesome and it comes with a remote control, av cables, wall charger and car charger.

Great product, Very Pleased!

My wife and I reviewed quite a few products before purchasing a portable player. We decided to try this one because of the screen size (so both of our kids could watch it), dual headphones jacks, and the long battery life (which ended up being needed, as I forgot to charge it halfway through our trip!).
The screen size is nice, bigger than most for the price. Although my daughter lost interest in the movies, my son was able to see the screen without mashing his face right up next to it and ruin his eyes. Details are not great, but your not buying a 1080-p plasma hi-def. Its a 9-inch monitor, but it's a nice 9-inch monitor. Secondly, the dual headphone jacks don't distort the audio quality. The headphones we had handled the decibal levels nicely, which we were concerned about on kids' ears. They were cheap headphones, so I'll attribute that to the player. Also, the sound produced even without headphones was enough for my son and daughter to hear even on a noisy plane. Third, the dvd's we played did not take a long time to load; some patience was required, but no more than 5-7 seconds to see the main menu pop up. We had "normal" dvd's and burned ones, and it handled all of them the same: exceptionally well.
Finally, the battery life - more than 7.5 hours easy. Two 4-hour plane rides round trip and not one charge, and the player finally lost battery life with 15 minutes left in the flight. That was really impressive. I am more than pleased that we went with this unit, and I would definitely recommend this to friends. Only user error, severe incompetence or an individual unit malfunction would garner a poor review in my opinion!

Nice player - good value

We bought two of these along with some headset mounts to entertain our girls on long trips. I connected them using an RCA cable, so the girls can both watch the same videos. The volume is much better than most mini players, and the screen is visible in all but the most direct sunshine. Controls are well laid out and easy to use. The battery life is fantastic, I have gone 7 hours at a stretch without realizing they have come unplugged. Our only gripe is that the neighborhood thieves seem to like them as well, as we have had several stolen.
